Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through its Division of Abandoned Mine Lands, is soliciting construction services for reclamation work involving four collapsed or sealed portals. The project includes excavation and drainage control; construction of approximately 210 linear feet of 2-foot flat-bottomed ditch, 280 linear feet of subdrain, and 150 linear feet of ECB V ditch; installation of approximately 120 linear feet of concrete block-tied mat; and installation of an 18-inch HDPE culvert with headwall. The total project area is approximately 1.2 acres, with a staging area near the property's water meter. The project is identified as RFB-82-27 / EEC-AML-24085AMLMAML and has an estimated duration through substantial completion plus 90 calendar days for final completion. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Commonwealth's eProcurement system; emailed, mailed, and hand-delivered bids will not be accepted. The Official Bid Document and Bid Bond, if required, must be combined into one PDF and uploaded with the electronic bid. Bidders must be registered in the Vendor Self Service system before submitting. Plans, specifications, and drawings must be obtained through the designated plan room.
