Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, is procuring modular roller tracks and associated hardware for six existing government shelves. The tracks must have dual-side retention flanges, at least 2 inches of clear conveyance width, roller centers no more than 6 inches apart, and a minimum load capacity of 2 pounds per linear foot. Rollers must be durable and impact-resistant, rotate freely under gravity-feed or hand-push loads, and be supplied in 6- to 20-foot sections with compatible connectors capable of forming rigid, continuous runs up to 200 feet. The tracks are intended for dry, indoor use; the government will assemble them on existing horizontal Unistrut supports, with a maximum unsupported span of 58.5 inches. Track attachment to the supports is not required, and the government is not seeking shelves or assembly services. The solicitation defines four configuration options based on track width and density: 30 runs totaling 6,000 linear feet; 24 runs totaling 4,800 feet; 18 runs totaling 3,600 feet; or 12 runs totaling 2,400 feet. Offerors may submit multiple options, but must provide a separate, complete quotation for each, clearly marked with its option. The government will first identify the lowest-priced technically acceptable quote for each option, then conduct a best-value trade-off among those quotes, preferring higher track density. Quotes must include the complete delivered cost, including track sections, splices, mounting accessories, and shipping. Delivery is FOB destination in Newport, Rhode Island, with a lead time no greater than 12 weeks after receipt of order. The 100% small-business set-aside remains in effect; past-performance information may be considered, and negative SPRS information may make a quote technically unacceptable.
