New Mexico State University is pursuing a sole-source procurement from Economic Modeling LLC, doing business as Lightcast, for labor market insights supporting assessment of demand for academic programs and microcredentials, identification of skill demand, development of new programs, and expansion of the adult student pipeline. The justification cites Lightcast’s comprehensive labor market data, proprietary skill mapping, curriculum alignment, global reach, data integrations, forecasting models, customizable reports, and visualization capabilities as unique and not available from comparable providers. The notice invites companies that believe they can provide equal or greater goods or services to submit written reasoning and detailed qualifications or specifications to the Director of Purchasing for consideration. Challenges must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days of posting.
