Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Division of Right of Way and Utilities, is issuing a Request for Bid (RFB) for the relocation of four graves from the Noble Family Gravesite in Breathitt County, Kentucky, to Jackson Cemetery in Jackson, Kentucky. The project involves disinterment of remains, provision of reinterment containers and vaults, transportation of remains, removal and reinstallation of existing monuments, and provision of new monuments for unmarked graves. The awarded funeral director must also supply necessary equipment to access the disinterment site and coordinate all reinterment activities with Jackson Cemetery. The contract is funded in part by the Federal Highway Administration and includes compliance with Davis-Bacon wage determinations, Buy America requirements, and DBE participation goals.
