Description
The City intends to establish a standing agreement for qualified, licensed providers to supply short-term passenger vehicle rentals for employees on an as-needed basis. Rentals will usually be for one day but may last several days, weeks, or months. Vehicles may range from sedans to half-ton pickup trucks and must meet specified equipment, condition, safety, and fuel requirements; pickup trucks must have bed liners. Unlimited mileage is required, and vehicles must be available for pickup within 20 minutes of booking confirmation and within the City's limits. This is a Notice of Intent to Award, not a standard open solicitation for the rental contract: the City intends to award to Enterprise. Other vendors may submit a Statement of Capabilities by the deadline; the City may then choose to conduct a public bid process. The notice does not state rental quantities or pricing.
