Description
Toronto Community Housing Corporation is seeking construction services for accessibility renovations to interior and exterior common areas at 100 High Park Avenue. The work includes improvements to the entrance vestibule, mailing area, elevator lobby, ground-floor hallways, laundry room, community room, community kitchen, universal washroom, and basement-level community spaces. Addendum 1 clarifies that the basement scope includes converting existing locker storage into community spaces, adding bicycle storage, and improving the basement elevator lobby and corridor. The scope includes accessibility improvements, interior floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, lighting, HVAC modifications, exterior concrete and asphalt paving, landscaping, signage, accessible ramps and railings, driveway and parking improvements, and related construction. The project also involves work around designated substances and hazardous materials, including asbestos-containing vinyl floor tile, low-level lead-containing paint, mercury-containing equipment, and suspected silica-containing materials. The RFP will be awarded to the lowest total-priced proposal.
