Description
Northwest Arkansas Community College seeks a qualified general contractor to support renovation of a Surgical Technician Simulation Lab in the Center for Health Professionals and make changes to an adjacent classroom. The scope includes code and floodplain compliance reviews; construction cost estimates; design development and construction documents; regulatory submissions; assistance with bid advertising, bid openings, and contract award; construction contract administration and site observation; and a warranty-period site review. The college will provide major lab equipment, including scrub sinks and an operating-room ceiling-mounted light. The response is a qualifications package, with no pricing permitted. Evaluation materials include a transmittal letter, proof of registration and insurance, firm office information, key personnel qualifications, relevant project experience, and a listing of recent Arkansas state contracts. The selected vendor will negotiate pricing after evaluation.
