Description
Northwest Arkansas Community College seeks a qualified firm to provide general contractor services for a surgical technology lab renovation and changes to an adjacent classroom. The scope includes code and site reviews, cost estimates, design development and construction documents, regulatory submissions, assistance with bidding, construction administration, project observation, and a warranty-period site review. The drawings also describe renovation work involving architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection systems. NWACC will provide the lab equipment, including surgical lights and scrub sinks, while the contractor is responsible for specified installation and coordination work. The contract has an initial one-year term and may be renewed annually for up to six additional years. Pricing is to be negotiated after evaluation; vendors must not include pricing in their response.
