Description
The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and operations needed to clean kitchen hoods and duct systems, removing grease and residue from hoods, ducts, vents, fans, louvers, filters, and related surfaces. Surfaces must be cleaned to bare metal; the work includes protecting nearby equipment, removing debris and water, restoring components, and arranging fire department inspection after cleaning. Work must comply with NFPA 96 and the statement of work. Cleaning is scheduled quarterly or semi-annually across the listed facilities. The contract has a 12-month base period and four one-year options. Quotes require a technical approach, a completed pricing schedule, and past-performance references; the technical approach is limited to 10 pages. The award uses a lowest-price technically acceptable process, with technical and past performance evaluated as acceptable or unacceptable.
