Description
The Town of Oyster Bay is soliciting sealed bids for the Alhambra Park Dredging and Beach Renourishment project in Nassau County, New York. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible qualified bidder, subject to funding and applicable legal requirements. Bidders must provide bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid. The contractor must have an apprenticeship program approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor in place at bid opening and must submit proof of participation within five business days after the opening. For public works contracts exceeding $250,000, workers and mechanics must have completed the OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health course. Contract documents require a nonrefundable $50 fee.
