Description
Nassau County Department of Public Works is requesting professional construction management and inspection services for the Merrick Avenue Traffic Signal Expansion project. The scope includes resident engineering, office engineering, and construction inspection services for the construction of 23 traffic signals and 10 traffic cameras along Merrick Avenue in East Meadow, Merrick, and North Merrick. The selected firm will receive a 24-month agreement. The project is federally funded and includes federal reporting and New York State Department of Transportation record-keeping requirements. Proposers must submit a Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Utilization Plan, make a good-faith effort toward a 15% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal, address minority and female participation goals, and meet a 2% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business good-faith goal. General and professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence is required.
