Harmony Healthcare Long Island is soliciting a contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for six health centers and a mobile healthcare coach. The scope includes daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning; healthcare-appropriate sanitizing and disinfecting; floor care; restroom and staff-lounge cleaning; trash removal; high-touch surface disinfection; and periodic high-dusting. The contractor must use EPA-registered healthcare disinfectants, maintain Safety Data Sheets, comply with applicable OSHA, CDC, and New York State Department of Health guidance, and avoid handling medical or biohazard materials. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, chemicals, paper products, restroom supplies, trash liners, uniforms, and consumables. Staffing plans must identify personnel, schedules, backup coverage, supervisors, communication procedures, and language capabilities. Proposals must address the requested work plan, staffing, service and pricing summary, company qualifications, legal authority to operate in New York, financial disclosures, at least three comparable references, and required insurance documentation. The initial contract term is one year, with up to two additional one-year renewals at HHLI's discretion and by mutual agreement.
