Submission Instructions
Description
The City seeks recurring document pickup and destruction at multiple facilities. The contractor must provide secure containers and transportation, shred paper in a cross-cut manner into pieces between 7/16 and 1/32 inches, and handle materials as-is without requiring City staff to remove clips, staples, folders, or similar items. A destruction certificate must be provided to the contract manager within 24 hours after destruction. The pricing sheet specifies bins of 32- and 64-gallon sizes and pickup frequencies ranging from monthly to quarterly. Bidders must submit pricing for the listed services, bid security, a completed vendor acknowledgment form, a completed contractor certification, and documentation of National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) AAA certification. The successful bidder must have at least three years of shredding-services experience; employees handling City documents must sign confidentiality statements, and drivers and crew must wear uniforms and identification badges while on City property. The initial contract pricing is fixed for three years.
