Description
The City seeks a qualified, properly licensed and registered contractor to remove and dispose of seven underground storage tanks and two above-ground fuel dispensers. The work includes pre-removal coordination and regulatory notifications, tank and piping removal, transportation and lawful disposal of tanks and contaminated materials, soil assessment and environmental cleanup, excavation and site restoration, and final cleanup and documentation. The contractor is responsible for the labor, equipment, permits, testing, disposal, and other services needed to complete the work in compliance with applicable requirements. Bidders must demonstrate applicable TCEQ contractor registration and on-site supervisor licensing, describe similar projects completed within the past five years, provide at least three references, provide proof of required insurance, identify proposed disposal facilities and any subcontractors, and submit other required qualifications and credentials. Site inspection is strongly encouraged. The successful contractor must provide certificates of insurance before beginning work; work may not begin until written authorization and required approvals are in place.
