Description
Vega Independent School District is soliciting proposals for a fully managed leased lit-fiber Internet access solution. The requested bandwidth options are 500 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps, with 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year pricing options and voluntary extension options. The service will terminate at Vega Elementary School for sharing across district locations and will serve Vega Elementary School, Vega High School, and Vega Junior High School. The scope includes installation and initial configuration, maintenance and technical support, bandwidth scalability during the contract term, and clearly separated pricing for eligible and ineligible services or products. If special construction charges apply, proposers should provide installment-payment options of up to four years for the district's nondiscounted share. Proposers must complete the "Vega_C1 Vendor Attachment_IA" form and submit proposals through the designated electronic RFP system. Evaluation criteria include eligible-service pricing, prior vendor experience, pricing for ineligible services or products, and local or in-state vendor status.
