Description
Beaufort County is soliciting a turnkey installation of a 350-kilowatt diesel emergency generator serving the entire electrical load of its occupied Administration Building. The scope includes the generator, automatic transfer switch, voltage monitoring and regulation, electrical wiring and conduit, main disconnect, integration with existing systems and controls, startup, testing, commissioning, warranty registration, documentation, and operational and maintenance training. The project also includes concrete generator-pad and screen-wall construction, masonry and EIFS work, gates, trenching, backfilling, sidewalk work, landscaping and sod, interior ceiling and gypsum-board work, permits, site protection, utility coordination, and closeout documentation. The contractor must provide a complete turnkey solution using qualified personnel, coordinate subcontractors, maintain public access and building operations, and complete the work within 120 calendar days after receipt of the equipment. A 5% bid bond is required with the electronic bid; 100% performance and payment bonds are required after award.
