The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service is seeking one new ribbon/paddle blender for its Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute facility. The required equipment has approximately 50- to 52-gallon capacity, a minimum 55-pound-per-cubic-foot bulk-density rating, a 3-horsepower motor, 230/460-volt three-phase power, stainless-steel Type 304 wetted and finished parts, a manually operated dust-tight discharge valve, FDA-compliant seals and gasket, OSHA-compliant guards, and a keypad with start/stop, speed control, and digital load information. The contractor must provide the equipment within 120 days after receipt of order, FOB destination, and all items must be new with clear traceability to the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized distributor. The quotation must include pricing for the complete line item, the ability to meet the delivery schedule, and an explanation of any specification deviations. The government will evaluate quotations using a lowest-price, technically acceptable approach with consideration of past performance. A Certificate of Conformance and manufacturer/distributor traceability documentation are required.
