Description
Greenville County, with support from Greenville Little League, seeks a contractor to remove the grass diamond infields at four Conestee Park baseball and softball fields and convert them to all-skin infields. The work is intended to improve performance, playability, and maintenance, with the transition occurring over the next two winters. The existing scope includes topographic surveying, laser grading to the proposed finish grade and slope, material removal or addition as needed, application and incorporation of native infield mix, tilling, rolling and compaction, moisture conditioning, grooming, and grand arc lip repair. The base scope covers approximately 13,000 square feet on Fields 1 and 3 and approximately 23,000 square feet on Fields 2 and 4, with an add/alternate for Dura Edge Field Saver Amendment or an equivalent engineered product. Proposals must address qualifications and experience, at least three project references, understanding of the scope, implementation and sequencing across all four fields, a schedule demonstrating completion within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, applicable material substitutions and manufacturer certifications, business licenses and certifications, insurance, bonding, and electronic pricing.
