Description
Manatee County is soliciting sealed bids for repairs and restoration of the Lake Manatee Utility Airboat Ramp and Dock, which was damaged during the 2024 hurricane events. The work includes demolition and off-site disposal of damaged dock, ramp, gangway, concrete matting, and existing piles; reconstruction of approximately 20 linear feet of fixed dock, 30 linear feet of articulating gangway/ramp, and 30 linear feet of floating dock; installation of precast concrete boat ramp panels and an 8-inch pressure-treated timber piling system; and restoration of disturbed areas. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, permits, and incidentals. The scope also includes floating turbidity barriers, erosion and sediment controls, site cleanup, shop drawings and product submittals, inspections and testing, certified record drawings, warranties, and closeout documentation. The project has a 120-calendar-day substantial-completion requirement. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid, and the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds for 100% of the award amount.
