Description
San Francisco Unified School District is soliciting proposals for the purchase and delivery of new network communication equipment to upgrade existing campus core and distribution networks. The scope includes core network switches, associated modules and components, software, applicable licenses, warranties, and related technical services. Refurbished equipment will not be accepted, and purchases may be made in whole or in part at the District’s discretion. Proposed equipment must meet specified compatibility and performance requirements, including support for Cisco EIGRP, Cisco Discovery Protocol, Link Layer Discovery Protocol, Rapid PVST+, Cisco StackWise, and Cisco StackPower, as applicable to the switch model. The proposer must complete the E-Rate equipment response template, identify eligible and ineligible costs, provide a narrative and separate cost proposal, and return signed copies of the E-Rate supplemental terms and purchase agreement. The contract has an initial three-year term, with two optional extensions of up to two years each, for a maximum term of five years.
