Description
The City of Park Ridge seeks a qualified attorney or law firm to serve as an Administrative Adjudication Hearing Officer for proceedings involving municipal code violations, building code enforcement, parking citations, vehicle compliance matters, and related cases. The Hearing Officer will conduct fair and impartial hearings, receive evidence, administer oaths, issue subpoenas when appropriate, preserve hearing records, and issue written findings, decisions, and orders. The Hearing Officer must be an Illinois-licensed attorney with at least three years of licensure, be in good standing with the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, complete the required formal training, and not reside in Park Ridge. The selected provider must generally be available for hearings on the second Tuesday of each month, including scheduled morning and afternoon calls, and may need to handle additional hearings. The proposal must include qualifications, experience, resume and education information, at least three client references and Illinois municipal client information, conflicts disclosures, a fee proposal, backup personnel information, proof of insurance, and the required procurement forms. Cost represents 50% of the evaluation weighting.
