Description
The USDA Forest Service requires network cabling and IT room improvements at the Hebgen Lake Ranger District Office. The work includes furnishing and installing a fire-rated plywood backboard, a wall-mounted IT cabinet, telecommunications grounding and bonding, a dedicated 120-volt, 20-amp circuit, an appropriately sized UPS, an eight-outlet PDU, and related rack accessories. The contractor must install 51 new Category 6 structured-cabling runs for wireless access points and user workstations, including pathways and supports, patch panels, termination hardware, labeling, and home-run connections to the new cabinet. The scope also includes removal and disposal of unnecessary cabling, Level III testing and certification of all Category 6 cabling, replacement and retesting of failed runs, electronic test reports, and required as-built documentation. The contractor must submit pricing for all schedule items and demonstrate at least five relevant projects completed within the preceding five years, including specified project, customer, performance, value, and reference information.
