Description
East Goshen Township is soliciting sealed bids for a 12-month contract to supply and deliver an estimated 14,000 gallons of aluminum sulfate solution and 20,000 gallons of liquid bulk caustic soda containing 25% sodium hydroxide. The bid form specifies aluminum sulfate solution at 48% concentration meeting ANSI/NSF Standard 60, while the advertisement lists 50% low iron; this discrepancy should be clarified before bidding. All items must be bid together and delivered in straight tank trucks because the Ridley Creek Sewer Treatment Plant cannot accommodate tractor-trailers. The bidder must complete the Township-provided Chemicals Bid Form. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check equal to 50% of the total contracted price within 30 days after award.
