Description
Warren County is soliciting sealed bids for improvements at the Linden Fire Station. The work includes converting the existing asphalt entrance to a heavy-duty reinforced concrete apron; installing approximately 50 linear feet of 12-inch trench drain, 12-inch dual-wall HDPE storm piping, and a VDOT MH-2 structure; removing existing asphalt, an inlet, and 4-inch PVC storm pipe; and completing excavation, grading, backfill, utility protection, and drainage connections. The scope also includes a continuous 5-foot-wide sidewalk along the left side of the building, traffic control and flagging, erosion and sediment controls, temporary and permanent stabilization, inspections and testing, pipe video inspection, cleanup, and restoration. Bidders must submit the County bid form, proof of authority to transact business in Virginia, qualification and reference information, a non-collusion affidavit, and a 5% bid bond or permitted equivalent. The resultant firm-fixed-price contract will run for 150 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
