Description
The City of Maryland Heights is soliciting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and tools required to remove and properly dispose of small trees less than six inches in diameter and underbrush along the I-270 right-of-way that obstructs drivers’ visibility of Aquaport. Work must be performed in accordance with the project drawings and specifications, and prevailing Missouri wage rates apply. Each bid must include bid security equal to five percent of the bid amount. The successful contractor must comply with Missouri requirements concerning OSHA-approved 10-hour construction safety training and, for contracts exceeding $5,000, federal work-authorization verification and a sworn affidavit regarding unauthorized aliens.
