Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting a sole-source requirements contract for the original equipment manufacturer to support Letterkenny Army Depot’s cold spray systems. The five-year ordering period includes annual preventative maintenance and calibration, calibration certificates, operator and maintenance personnel training, technical telephone support, emergency and non-emergency repairs, proprietary and specialized parts, travel, and over-and-above work. Services must be performed on site when required, with annual training and calibration at the depot. The contractor must provide qualified OEM-certified personnel, respond to emergency service calls within 24 hours, coordinate on-site emergency repairs within one week of an authorized request, and provide written service reports after maintenance. The solicitation identifies VRC Metal Systems, LLC as the sole-source OEM and states that no authorized third-party service, repair, or training providers exist.
