Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking a contractor to provide non-type-rated initial and recurrent pilot qualification training for FAA pilots and inspectors in the Beechcraft King Air 250 with Pro Line Fusion avionics. The scope includes ground school, FAA-approved full-flight simulator or flight-training-device instruction, initial practical testing, recurrent pilot-in-command proficiency checks, and authorized supplementary training hours. The contractor must provide an approved training program, qualified instructors, training aids and facilities, the aircraft and/or simulator resources required for each proposed course, course materials, training schedules, and completion certificates. The procurement is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery requirements contract with a one-year base period and four 12-month option periods; estimated quantities are 10 initial-training students and 24 recurrent-training students per contract year, with additional training ordered as needed. Award will be made to the lowest-price technically acceptable offeror.
