Description
Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC, the management and operating contractor for Idaho National Laboratory, is seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors for the fabrication of one ASME Section VIII, Division 2 stainless steel pressurizer vessel and associated components. The scope includes supplying materials; fabricating the vessel, mounting legs, spray nozzles, and lifting lugs; developing shop drawings; performing inspections and hydrostatic and lifting-lug tests; and preparing the vessel for horizontal, forklift-compatible shipment. The vessel must meet specified nuclear-quality, material, welding, surface-finish, cleanliness, and documentation requirements, including an ASME “U” stamp and a quality program equivalent to ASME NQA-1.
