Description
Alberta Innovates seeks a multidisciplinary consulting engineering team to replace the primary steam generation system serving its BioIndustrial Services fermentation plant. The work includes site and utility investigations; steam-demand assessment; options analysis; mechanical, electrical, controls, civil, and structural design; regulatory and permitting support; and preparation of construction-ready tender documents. The design must address system reliability, code compliance, emissions, lifecycle costs, and continuity of steam service during construction and commissioning. The consultant will also provide procurement support, construction-phase engineering, commissioning and closeout assistance, and optional system-optimization recommendations. Required proposal content includes a technical response to the rated criteria, a completed Submission Form, a completed Pricing Form, and a current APEGA Permit to Practice. The technical response is limited to 50 pages, excluding specified front matter and resumes, and must be submitted as one PDF not exceeding 10 MB.
