Description
The United Nations Development Programme is procuring the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, training, documentation, and one-year operation and maintenance support for inverter-driven air-to-air heat pump systems at Batroun Governmental Hospital. The work covers the hospital basement operating rooms, radiology/imaging department, and emergency department, including air-cooled three-pipe VRF systems, heat-recovery hydroboxes for domestic hot water, a hygienic air-handling unit, ducted fan-coil units, an air-filtration unit, exhaust fans, ductwork, refrigerant and condensate piping, insulation, electrical works, controls, monitoring, and fire-alarm integration. The contractor must dismantle and store or deliver the existing HVAC equipment as specified, provide all associated civil and electrical works, perform testing and commissioning, submit engineering, shop and as-built documentation, provide operation and maintenance manuals in English and Arabic, and conduct a one-day maintenance-team training workshop. The contract duration is six months from contract signature, followed by a 12-month defects-liability period; outdoor heat-pump units require a five-year manufacturer-backed warranty. A mandatory site visit is required, and bids must be submitted through the UNDP Quantum supplier portal by the stated deadline.
