Description
Philadelphia Gas Works is requesting quotations for as-needed disposal services for inoperative Itron 40G encoded receiver transmitters. The contractor must coordinate pickup and third-party freight from PGW’s designated location, provide shipping labels and bills of lading or equivalent freight documentation, securely transport the units, and assume custody after collection. The ERTs contain electronic components, lithium batteries, and heavy metals and must be disposed of or recycled in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local e-waste and transportation regulations. The contract is for one year with four additional one-year renewal options at PGW’s discretion, with no minimum quantity guarantee. Estimated quantities are provided for pricing only. Bidders must submit firm per-unit or per-pound pricing, evidence of required insurance, and the completed bidder certification and other required solicitation forms. Subcontractors require PGW approval, and the selected contractor must obtain required permits and provide performance and labor-and-material bonding before purchase-order issuance.
