Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), the Management & Operating Contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) owned Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors for the replacement of an Air Handling Unit (AHU) at the TAN-677 facility. This initiative aims to enhance the reliability, energy efficiency, and operational safety of the facility's HVAC systems. The scope of work may include the removal and disposal of the existing HVAC and control system, installation of a new HVAC and control system with associated components, integration with existing ductwork, electrical, and control systems, and compliance with DOE, ASHRAE, and applicable safety standards. Testing and commissioning will be required to ensure proper functionality and performance. The Davis-Bacon Act and the INL Site Stabilization Agreement will apply to this construction work. This Expression of Interest (EOI) is the initial step in identifying potential vendors for a future Request for Proposal (RFP). Interested vendors are requested to submit their company name, point of contact, a description of relevant AHU replacement capabilities and experience, NAICS codes, business size classification, and any existing DOE or federal contracting experience. Submissions are due by January 29, 2027, and should be sent to Chase.Egbert@inl.gov.
