Description
The City of Danville is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform asbestos abatement and demolition work at eight properties. The scope includes site-specific bid proposals and surveys, compliance with applicable building, safety, environmental, and contract requirements, site cleanup, and coordination with the City and other contractors. The contractor must provide the necessary labor, equipment, permits, licenses, and documentation, and must maintain required insurance and bonding. Bidders must submit the City's bid forms and supporting response materials, including company history, qualifications and similar-project experience from the past five years with client contact information, project approach, project schedule, pricing, and a letter expressing willingness to be interviewed and provide documentation to interested parties. The award is expected to go to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, with consideration given to completion time.
