Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, on behalf of the Tomah VA Health Care System, is soliciting quotations for one fully operational mobile 1.5T MRI system housed in a mobile coach. The contractor must provide transportation, delivery, positioning, setup, installation, commissioning, connection to Government-provided utilities, preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, replacement parts, technical support, software and firmware updates, accessories, and required training. VA personnel will provide MRI technologists, perform imaging studies, interpret scans, and supply clinical consumables. The system must include at least a 1.5T magnet, 70 cm bore, 500-pound patient-table capacity, required imaging protocols, coils, contrast injector, HVAC and onboard-generator capability, DICOM/PACS connectivity, MRI-safe patient equipment, and other accessories needed for safe year-round operation. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 telephone support, two-hour on-site emergency response, restoration within 12 hours, a replacement mobile MRI unit within 48 hours when restoration is not achieved, and at least 98 percent monthly uptime. Quotations will be evaluated on technical/quality, past performance, and price. This is a competitive SDVOSB set-aside under NAICS 532490.
