Description
This sources-sought notice seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive tree management services at the Tomah VA Medical Center. The anticipated work includes removal of up to 18 large hazardous, dead, or diseased trees; trimming large trees for health and safety; debris, stump, and tree-part removal; and planting up to 65 replacement or new trees, including species recommendations, site selection, installation, mulching, and care instructions. The requirement also includes development of a written five-year tree care and forest management plan addressing historic forest characteristics, tree removal, maintenance, disease management, planting, recommended species, and diversity goals. Work must be performed by International Society of Arboriculture-certified arborists under the supervision of a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional, with compliance with applicable OSHA, ANSI Z133.1, and environmental, wildlife, cultural-resource, and utility-safety requirements. This notice requests a capability statement, SAM UEI number, and point-of-contact information; it is not a request for quote.
