Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with LabRepCo for two TwinGuard Ultra-Low Temperature Upright Freezers, model MDF-DU703VXHA-PA, to store pre-clinical and clinical research samples at the White River Junction VA Healthcare System. The required system includes two independent auto-cascade cooling systems operating concurrently, insulated inner doors, a running temperature log, predictive analytics, and audible and visible alarms. This is a notice of intent rather than a competitive solicitation or request for quotes. Responses must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the Government; the agency states that market research found no other freezer brand with the required dual independent cooling capability.
