Description
The Department of the Navy is seeking an authorized distributor to repair or modify 29 circuit card assemblies, NSN 5998-012568665, part number 6710074-1, associated with CAGE code 53711. Repair work must follow the contractor's approved repair and overhaul practices and applicable technical documentation. The required repair turnaround time is 53 days, measured from receipt of the asset at the contractor's facility through government acceptance. Government source inspection and final government inspection and acceptance are required. The contractor must also perform inspection and testing in accordance with the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings, and comply with applicable marking and military packaging requirements. Quotes must include unit price, total price, and repair turnaround time. If the quoted turnaround exceeds 53 days, the offeror must explain its capacity constraints. The solicitation permits teardown and evaluation pricing for items determined beyond repair and requires proof of authorized-distributor status on company letterhead signed by a responsible company official. The award will be bilateral and require the contractor's written acceptance. Freight is FOB origin and handled by the Navy under the Commercial Asset Visibility Statement of Work.
