Description

The Los Angeles County Office of Education seeks janitorial services at 12 listed facilities. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, equipment, cleaning materials, and expendable supplies, including restroom supplies. Routine work includes vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, restroom cleaning and restocking, floor care, glass cleaning, and related daily and weekly tasks. Periodic work includes carpet shampooing or extraction, floor stripping, sealing and waxing, and light-fixture cleaning. The contractor must use environmentally friendly and Green Seal-certified products, provide product and unit-cost listings for approval, and submit safety data sheets for the products used. The scope also includes emergency and special cleaning services on a 24-hour basis, with a response time of two hours when requested, as well as site security procedures, inspections, and written reports. The bid requires a completed Bid Form and supporting response items, including a bid guarantee, non-collusion declaration, customer references, and other listed certifications and forms. A bid bond or cashier’s check of at least 10% of the bid is required; its copy is uploaded with the bid, and the original must be mailed separately by November 30, 2026.
