Description
The City seeks a contractor to restore approximately 23,030 square feet of existing gymnasium flooring. Work includes assessing and preparing the floor, sanding it, repainting basketball, volleyball, and pickleball lines and court numbers to match the provided layout, and applying a compatible sealer and finish. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision; coordinate access; protect adjacent surfaces; and complete inspection and correction of deficiencies before owner acceptance. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks, with the gymnasium closure anticipated during March and April 2027. The bid response must include a completed pricing sheet and vendor response documents, including experience, references, quality assurance, schedule and staffing, and warranty information. Required bonds are specified for contracts over $10,000: payment and performance bonds each in an amount not less than the contract price. Insurance certificates are required before work begins; the solicitation specifies general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and umbrella coverage. The contract is scheduled to begin March 1, 2027, after execution.
