Description
The Metropolitan Council is soliciting construction services for improvements to the Metro Water Resource Recovery Facility. The scope includes electrical, HVAC, structural, and building improvements to the EPS1, EPS2, EPS3, EPS4, EPS5, and WSE2 buildings; asbestos, lead-paint, and PCB abatement in specified process and chlorine buildings; installation of single-mode fiber and new conduits between WSE2, SMB, and Administration buildings; and selective demolition of unused sulfur dioxide and chlorine equipment. The solicitation requires electronic bid packages submitted through QuestCDN, and bidders must be registered plan holders. The plans contain nonpublic data subject to a binding nondisclosure agreement. Two pre-bid meetings and two site visits are identified, and the bid opening will be conducted by Microsoft Teams.
