Description
The City of Moberly is seeking expressions of interest from individuals, businesses, nonprofits, developers, investors, operators, and development teams interested in acquiring and redeveloping either the entire Fennel Complex or only the Fennel Building. The complex includes a renovated historic commercial building, the Pro Auto Building, and the Fennel Event Center, with approximately 15,500 square feet in the Fennel Building, approximately 5,500 square feet in the Pro Auto Building, outdoor event space, landscaped green space, food-truck connections, parking, and related site improvements. Potential concepts may include commercial, retail, dining, hospitality, entertainment, recreation, mixed-use, arts and cultural, community, event, or tourism uses. Responses must describe the proposed project, use, acquisition area, acquisition and development timelines, purchase price, financial capacity, financing plan, comparable projects, relevant adverse financial events, and any requested public assistance or incentives. Respondents must complete the Proposal Cover Sheet and submit one paper copy and one digital copy on a USB flash drive. The selected Preferred Respondent must later execute an Initial Funding Agreement and deposit $15,000 within 20 business days of written notice; this is a post-selection requirement rather than the submission price or award amount.
