Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for two hypothermia casualty bags, NSN 6532-01-498-9681. The specified bag must have a waterproof interior and exterior, a 1,000-denier Cordura bottom, 200-denier Oxford nylon lining and top, an international orange top, separable top and bottom sections, two-way zippers, a leg-access zipper, an approximate weight of eight pounds, a compression stuff sack measuring 11 by 23 inches, and be completely launderable. The quotation must identify the source and part number being supplied. Alternate products require complete technical data sufficient for evaluation. Delivery is required within 20 days after order, FOB destination, with destination inspection and acceptance. Packaging, preservation, and marking must comply with the stated military and medical packaging requirements.
