Description
The San Francisco Department of Children, Youth and Their Families is soliciting proposals from community-based organizations for up to seven grants supporting expanded learning and youth services. Funding strategies include Comprehensive Year-Round and Summer Learning, with academic support, skill building, enrichment, physical activity, literacy and math support, and grade-specific transition services; and Resource Navigation and Service Connection, with individualized assessment, case management, referrals, warm handoffs, follow-up, and culturally responsive support for children, youth, transitional-age youth, young adults, and families. The RFP offers up to $1.74 million in total annual funding, with individual annual allocations of up to $225,000, $700,000, $665,000, or $75,000 depending on the grant selected. The grant term is April 1, 2027, through June 30, 2029, with a possible extension of up to two additional years. Applicants must complete an Intent to Apply through the online system before receiving access to the proposal forms, and must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience during 2016–2026, California charitable-registration compliance, and the ability to meet the applicable program-location, target-population, service, reporting, accessibility, insurance, and evaluation requirements.
