Description
The National Institutes of Health intends to award a noncompetitive, firm-fixed-price maintenance agreement for its Leica BOND RX automated staining platform. The scope includes one annual preventive-maintenance visit, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment and calibration, repairs and reliability updates, and unlimited emergency repair service. The contractor must provide certified, factory-trained service engineers and new, OEM-certified replacement parts; consumables are excluded. Travel and labor are included, and the contractor must verify completion of the required work. The agreement has a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Interested parties may submit capability information and a technical and cost-price proposal, including the requested business and pricing details. The notice states that Leica and its exclusive regional dealers are the only authorized sources of factory-trained engineers for this equipment.
