Description
The Town seeks a contractor to provide tree trimming, tree removal, stump removal, and related services at locations designated by the Town during the 2027 contract term. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, equipment, tools, vehicles, and incidental materials; provide traffic control and safety measures; and remove and dispose of wood chips, limbs, and other debris on the same day unless otherwise directed. Work is priced by hourly rates for a bucket truck and chipper crew, crane truck with operator, and stump machine with operator, with separate rates for normal hours, overtime, and weekends or holidays. Normally scheduled work must be completed within seven business days of scheduling, and emergency calls must be answered within one hour. The successful bidder must meet applicable licensing and registration requirements, including registration with the New Jersey Board of Tree Experts. The contract runs from January 1 through December 31, 2027; award is to the lowest responsible bidder. The bid package requests three recent similar-work references and identifies several documents required with the bid.
