Description
The City of Alhambra is soliciting proposals from qualified professional firms to provide engineering design services for the FY 2026–2027 SB1/RMRA Street Rehabilitation Project. The work covers 15 local street segments and includes project management, utility coordination, records research, field review, topographic surveying, pavement coring and soil reporting, pavement analysis, cost estimates, construction plans and specifications, signing and striping plans, and construction support. The selected consultant must prepare plans, specifications, and estimates at approximately 60%, 90%, and 100% completion; provide electronic files and specified plan submittals; prepare record drawing mylars after construction; and have plans and specifications signed by appropriately registered California engineers. The proposal is limited to 25 pages, with a separate fee proposal, a cover letter, table of contents, project-team resumes, three public-agency references for similar projects, firm qualifications and experience, and a statement regarding compliance with the City's standard contract and insurance requirements. The design phase is to be completed within 90 working days after award.
