Description
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, on behalf of the University of Georgia, is soliciting statements of qualifications from firms to provide construction management-at-risk services for Project CP 3571, South Milledge Roundabouts. The project includes a new single-lane, four-leg roundabout serving the Track and Field and Turner Family complexes and a new single-lane, three-leg roundabout at the State Botanical Garden entrance. Associated work includes pedestrian crossings, refuge islands, sidewalks, stormwater management, utility relocations, lighting, signage, landscaping, and coordination with Georgia Department of Transportation and Athens-Clarke County requirements. The project is within Athens-Clarke County roadway right-of-way or easement and will be delivered in coordination with applicable state and local requirements. The university will shortlist qualified firms, request additional information regarding project team composition, conduct interviews, rank finalists, and negotiate with the selected firm; the resulting contract will be held by the Board of Regents and is subject to its approval.
