Description
The Town of Plainfield is seeking proposals for the procurement of a tandem plow/spreader truck. The scope of work includes the chassis, dump body, hydraulic system, snowplow, plow hitch, spreader, lighting, and associated equipment. Bid documents, including the Request for Proposals Guidelines, can be obtained from Butler, Fairman and Seufert, Inc. (BF&S) by contacting 317-713-4615 or via email at lhalloran@bfsengr.com. BF&S will distribute electronic copies and maintain a Planholders List. Amendments will only be sent to respondents on this list, and responses will only be accepted from those on the list. Proposals must be submitted electronically to sswan@townofplainfield.com and jlightner@bfsengr.com by 9:00 a.m. local time on July 2, 2026. Proposals received after this time may not be considered. Respondents must acknowledge that their proposal will remain valid for at least 60 days following the submission deadline.
