The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is planning a design-build-to-budget construction project for a new 54,600-square-foot multipurpose athletic field at Fort McCoy. The facility will include a 200-meter rubberized running track and an artificial-turf infield sized for Army fitness testing, along with site development, utility connections, lighting, paving, sidewalks, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping, signage, temperature control, and antiterrorism measures. The scope also requires comprehensive building design services, accessibility features, life-safety analysis, a new addressable fire alarm system compatible with the existing base system, telecommunications coordination, and sustainable high-performance building design. The facility must be designed for a minimum 40-year life and will be periodically occupied, with utilities capable of being reduced or disconnected during non-use. This notice is for an industry day, pre-solicitation conference, and site visit—not an active request for proposals, bids, or quotations.
