Description
Skagit Transit seeks a contractor to construct and build out a 70,000-square-foot maintenance, operations, and administration facility. The scope includes high-bay vehicle maintenance shops, administrative offices, a bus wash facility, site work, utilities, heavy-duty asphalt paving, and stormwater management systems. The engineer’s estimate is $25–30 million. The project is subject to Federal Transit Administration requirements, a 15% minimum apprentice utilization requirement, and submission of a subcontractor list with the bid. A 0% DBE goal and a 1% small-business goal are stated. Supplemental bidder responsibility criteria apply.
